TRAINING OVERVIEW
The ADA took a significant leap forward with the passage of the ADA Amendments Act. These amendments changed how employers should focus their ADA administration and have resulted in a significant rise in charges alleging ADA discrimination.
Part 1 of this session will address the key terminology of the ADA including the definition of disability, who is a qualified individual with a disability, what constitutes essential and marginal functions of a job, and the interactive process.
