As a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer (RPCV)\, he experienced firsthand the deep sense of community and connection that often defines service abroad. That experience led him to join Gather\, an initiative founded by RPCVs that helps everyone think about meaningful connection through intentional gatherings. \nAcross the country\, many people are experiencing a quiet but growing sense of isolation at work\, in their neighborhoods\, and in their communities. The U.S. Surgeon General has identified loneliness as a serious public health concern.
